It was established on the 20th January 1999 and in May 31st 2000, the union registered with the Ghana Co-Operative Credit Union Association (CUA) and had their certificate and became known as the AXIM ROAD COMMUNITY CO-OPERATIVE CREDIT UNION LIMITED (ARRCU)
